The Fertility Awareness Method (FAM) is a basic education of being in a woman’s body, yet is sorely missing from our educational system. It can be used for birth control, conscious conception, fertility optimization and above all, self-awareness.

FAM is NOT the rhythm method, but a highly evolved and researched form of natural family planning (NFP) that is the birth rite of every woman, yet sorely missing from our educational system.

The teacher, Sarah Bly, is a certified Fertility Awareness Educator (FAE) and a midwife. She has taught the Fertility Awareness Method as well as sacred sexuality classes to many women (and men) over the last decade and has practiced the FAM herself for 18 years. She feels it is time to break down the myths surrounding this element of women’s wisdom, which is an extremely empowering and effective practice.
